AECOM, a prominent global engineering and construction consultancy, undertook the task of submitting a tender to establish a Project Management Office (PMO) in support of MetroLink - a proposed high-capacity rail line in Ireland. Recognising the complexity of the project, AECOM sought additional and specialised support to enhance the bid. This led to a strategic collaboration with Movar, a consultancy renowned for its expertise in bid development and project management.

The Problem.
AECOM faced challenges in the initial bid development for the MetroLink PMO, prompting the engagement of Movar for targeted support. The issues included gaps and inconsistencies in the existing bid documentation, necessitating a comprehensive review and improvement.
A more cohesive strategy, detailed implementation recommendations, and a well-articulated narrative were required to effectively convey AECOM's capabilities and commitment to the MetroLink project.
