Project Introduction.
a key development within NEOM
Sindalah Island stands as a key development within NEOM, a mega-city and global business and tourism hub taking shape in Saudi Arabia. This ambitious endeavor is part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, a strategic plan aimed at diversifying the country's economy and reducing reliance on oil. Sindalah Island specifically envisions itself as a luxury tourism destination, aligning with broader efforts to expand the nation's tourism sector and welcome international visitors. The development includes upscale features such as luxury hotels, private villas, a yacht club, and various leisure facilities, contributing to the overall allure of NEOM.
The Problem.
The Sindalah Island project encountered challenges in accurately gauging its progress and understanding the essential requirements for successful completion.
Resource forecasting was hindered by inefficiencies, leading to poor tracking of resource usage against delivery performance. Additionally, the reporting outputs failed to provide clear and insightful information.
Our Solution.
To address these challenges, a comprehensive solution was implemented. A pivotal step involved the development of an integrated data set, establishing a robust foundation for comprehensive project insights. This integrated data set facilitated the pipelining and ingestion of information into a meticulously rebuilt reporting suite.
The rebuilding process of the reporting suite was a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the clarity and depth of reporting outputs. The integration of various data sources into a cohesive framework allowed for a more holistic view of project metrics, fostering transparency and informed decision-making.
