General Statement

Movar Limited is a professional and environmentally conscious company which acknowledges the impact that our operations may potentially have on the environment. ​

Aims and objectives

The organisation fully commits to:​​

  • Establish
    • We have an established, continually implemented and maintained Environmental ISO 14001: 2015 embedded within our IMS. ​
  • Comply
    • Ensure we comply to all company, legal, regulatory and industry requirements and fulfil our obligations. ​
  • Identify
    • To identify adverse environmental impacts and risks from our activities and delivery and work to reduce or prevent them.
    • To identify opportunities for positive environmental impact. ​
  • Prevent and Promote
    • To promote a working environment that supports employee well-being and an aspiration to Carbon Zero and no Environmental incidents.
    • We promote a circular economy, reducing and recycling wherever possible.
    • We prevent unnecessary impact to the environment wherever possible and encourage our supply chain to consider their impact and encourage to either have or are leading to the requirements of ISO 14001 standard.
    • We promote the conservation and protection of the environment and biodiversity through education, the support of active lifestyles and the support of key environmental charities.
    • To promote environmental awareness amongst our interested parties.
  • Continual Improvement
    • To follow our path of continual improvement through measurable target setting, QHSE meetings, Management Reviews and Audits.
    • To integrate Environmental thinking into our business processes and decision-making. ​​
    • To continue our journey towards being Carbon Neutral by 2030
  • Communication
    • To ensure effective and expedient reporting of all concerns, investigation, and correction in a timely manner.

This policy and environmental objectives are made available to all interested parties.

Managers have the responsibility to ensure the communication of the policy, provide the necessary resources and ensure their team is working in a manner that upholds our standards, processes, and procedures. Staff have the responsibility to read and follow the standards that have been set out in our policy. ​
