Job Description
As a Risk Manager you would undertake day to day risk management activities including:
· Implementation/contribution to the risk management process
· Enable stakeholders in risk identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation
· Organise and lead risk workshops/reviews
· Produce risk reports that contribute to the business rhythm and inform decision making
· Working as a consultant within a client environment and embedding expertise into their teams
· Act as an ambassador for the risk management profession
· Coach, develop and supervise stakeholders by sharing knowledge and expertise
· Building strong relationships with stakeholders
Candidate Specification:
Required experience and qualifications:
· Proven experience in Risk Management
· Ability to operate both autonomously and as part of a larger team
· Stakeholder management experience
· Basic knowledge of Risk Tools and Software such as ‘@risk, Safran, ARM, Xactium etc.
· Competent IT skills including the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
· Soft skills including effective listening, persuasion, collaborative style, leadership, flexibility, self-motivation, creativity and insightfulness.
· Educated to degree level or hold an appropriate professional qualification in Risk Management
· Must hold a UK passport
Desirable experience and qualifications:
· A track record in the delivery of construction projects
· Experience in the infrastructure sector
· QCRA and QSRA knowledge and experience
· Risk Management qualification
· Professional Membership with an applicable professional organisation
· Full UK driving licence
