Job Summary.

 

About the Role 

 

Movar is seeking a Data Engineer with hands-on experience in building cloud data systems. You will design and implement data pipelines that support analytics and AI across complex infrastructure programmes. Working within our Data & AI team, you will contribute to scalable, reliable data solutions whilst developing your expertise in Azure cloud technologies and modern data engineering practices. 

 

Core Responsibilities 

 

·        Design and build data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics. 

·        Develop ETL/ELT workflows to ensure data quality and reliability. 

·        Work with data lakes and warehouses using Azure Data Lake Storage and SQL Server. 

·        Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to deliver robust data products. 

·        Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes. 

·        Participate in technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. 

 

Technical Stack

·        Python (PySpark basics, Pandas),

What You'll Bring

 

·       Professional experience in data engineering or related technical roles. 

·        Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline design. 

·        Hands-on experience with Azure data services and SQL. 

·        Growing knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices. 

·        Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
